Deep Rest - Restorative Yoga Immersion with Nicole Schneider
Restorative yoga is defined as conscious relaxation and offers us the unique opportunity to purposefully and deeply rest. The restorative practice uses props like blankets, blocks and bolsters to create positions of ease and comfort and postures are held between 5-20 minutes. The conditions created by the practice help the body connect with its natural system of healing – the relaxation response. In the relaxation response, the body can experience healing and restoration from the accumulation of life’s stressors.

Join Nicole in this workshop to understand why it is so important to restore ourselves, how to activate the parasympathetic nervous system and the effects of deep relaxation and silence. After an introduction to the restorative intention and use of props, Nicole will guide you through a restorative sequence designed for full body relaxation. You will leave feeing grounded, renewed and restored.

Relaxing essential oils, ambient music and gentle massage assists will be provided to enhance the restorative experience. All Levels welcome.
